About the position:

This is your opportunity! We are looking for a Consultant expert in data analysis and collection with experience in the fisheries sector to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Collect relevant data for the project using various tools and techniques.
- Design and apply survey instruments for different target audiences.
- Manage and supervise the data collection process.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the collected data.
- Analyze data and present results clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with the research team in the preparation of reports and publications.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, economic, social science, or statistical discipline.
- At least 5 years of work experience in conducting statistical surveys.
- Demonstrated track record in the blue economy and experience in research methods.
- Solid understanding of data collection concepts and electronic data collection tools.
- Specialized knowledge in the field of fisheries or agriculture is valued.

Additional requirements:
- Practical experience with stakeholders in the fisheries or agricultural sector and a strong capacity for organization, planning, and independent work.

Consideraciones:
- Contract type and modality: Consulting firm, fixed price.
- Contract duration: 5 months.
- Start date: March 2024

Additional requirements:
- Be a citizen of one of the 48 member countries of the IDB and not have relatives currently working in the IDB Group.
